My Gear

Here is the kit I am currently using for training:

GPS: Garmin Forerunner 210 GPS watch w/ HR monitor & foot pod

Shoes: Brooks Dyad 7

Shorts: Adidas climilite shorts (has a great zippered rear pocket for iPod / GU)

Shirt: any tech shirt from my drawer, though my current favorite is my 2014 Columbus Marathon In-Training shirt

Kit bag: Bad Boy MMA Backpack (enough large pockets for everything, plus solid stitching)

Training Plan: Runner’s World Break-1:45 Break-1:30 Half Marathon Plan (I am switching to the faster plan, wish me luck!) & Garmin Connect web app

Nutrition Plan: Racing Weight series (Quick Start & Cookbook currently) – I can’t recommend this system enough!
